As part of Misr El Kheir Foundation’s commitment to supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and climate action, the Foundation is honored to be part of the important project “Strengthening the Roles of NGOs in Sustainable Development and Climate Action at the Local Level.”

We believe that sustainable development is the pathway to achieving a better and brighter future for our communities. With this in mind, we work continuously to strengthen partnerships among development stakeholders to improve citizens’ quality of life, using Egypt’s Vision 2030 as a guiding framework for these partnerships.

The Egyptian government places significant emphasis on sustainable development and climate action and is actively working to achieve the objectives and pillars of Egypt’s Vision 2030. This study forms part of our ongoing efforts as civil society organizations to understand the needs of local communities and develop innovative solutions that effectively address those needs.

The study aims to strengthen community participation and cooperation among all relevant stakeholders—including government institutions, civil society organizations, and the private sector—to achieve sustainable development in Beni Suef Governorate. We hope these efforts will contribute to developing actionable plans that create a positive and sustainable impact and ultimately improve the quality of life for local communities.

For its part, Misr El Kheir Foundation will continue its efforts to advance civil society work and strengthen the role of civil society in achieving sustainable development. The project “Strengthening the Roles of NGOs in Sustainable Development and Climate Action at the Local Level” is one of the Foundation’s initiatives, funded by the European Union, to support sustainable development and Egypt’s Vision 2030.

Through this project, we work to promote innovative practices among civil society organizations and develop innovative solutions that respond to citizens’ needs and contribute to improving their quality of life.
