This paper is part of the publications of the Regional Observatory under the “Sustainable Empowerment” Project, implemented under the title “Strengthening the Roles of Civil Society Organizations in Sustainable Development and Climate Action at the Local Level for Inclusive Sustainable Development.” The project is implemented by the Beni Suef Renaissance Foundation in partnership with the Misr El Kheir Foundation and funded by the European Union.
The paper aims to shed light on the issue of agricultural waste recycling in Beni Suef Governorate by analyzing the current situation, highlighting key challenges and opportunities, and drawing on relevant data and indicators to examine the economic, social, and environmental dimensions and impacts of the issue.
The paper also presents a set of practical and actionable recommendations based on an analysis of the current situation. These recommendations seek to support sustainable development efforts, promote sound agricultural waste management, mitigate the impacts of climate change, and enable relevant stakeholders to adopt more efficient and sustainable policies and practices at the local level.
